Snorkel with Exo cage

i have a 89 toyota pickup with an ARB snorkel on it. i have been thinking about building an exo cage but looking at every picture of trucks with cages the bar that runs up the sides of the windshield is right in the way of the Snorkel. i was wondering if any one has put an exo cage on with the snorkel on it and if so how it worked out and if they have any pics of it?? thanks
Jim

you have three options:

1. get rid of snorkel (this would be my choice)
2. relocate snorkel around exo design
3. design exo around snorkel

now, why do you need a snorkel? your ignition and ecu are lower than the stock intake.

this water was over my hood, over my lap and over my gear in the bed of my 4runner (notice warm, dry clothes tied to the top of cage). and it worked out fine with out a snorkel. the current was so strong that we started facing up stream and it pushed us down stream to the exit of the crossing.

4. Redesign snorkel to an internal design under the fender in which it draws air in from the hood cowl.

ok, i don't get it, how do you keep water outa yur motor? isn't the intake right behind the grille?

is it technique?

do you think the extra height from lift and tires makes it work? mine's not gonna be lifted so i have that to worry about.(im considering a snorkel, too)

regards
brian
