average start-truck-up-after-5-years procedure

85 bronco II carb 2.8v6. it has been 5 years since it has been driven. "started occasionaly". its a free b2 they want it out of their yard. gonna be a basic/cheap offroad funbox. so i got the basics down. drain and/or drop gas tank to clean out w/fresh gas. inspect fuel lines. somone help me on this one. obviously excessive rust is bad but what should i look for? that are warning signs of bad fuel lines? clean carb, inspect air filter/intake, replace: hoses, belts, valve cover gaskets. inspect radiator, oil pan gasket, replace fluids (brakes radiator engine tranny tcase diffs) and replace bad brake lines. i want to throw oil conditioner in for seals and such and some of the antileak stuff in the radiator when i top it all off. i already know the b2 traits. weakness' of heads and d28 and the famous ticking, ect, so lets just focus on this complete refresh after sitting 5 years. did i miss anything? thanks

are you sure you want to put stopleak in the radiator? If it isn't leaking I wouldn't. I've heard has a tendency to plug some of your radiator and heater core fins.

well i want to do it becasue if there is almost a head gasket leak or a waterpump leak on the way it will stop it untill it can be adressed later properly. this way ill have time to drive it and adress other issues it will have and not be kept back by a leak. thanks for the warning tho. ill skimp on the amount i put in. if it does clog up then ill see it on the temp gage, and ill just flush it all out. i am assuming the clutch and main seal and all are ok hopefuly. i know there are people out there who can either tell me "dont forget..." or "yeah you got it down. you should be fine". gimme some feedback. thanks
