Arrow 1987 Suzuki Samurai Long Wheelbase LWB

1987 Suzuki Samurai Long Wheelbase LWB

Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Price: $4500

1987 Suzuki Samurai JX LONG WHEELBASE (LWB)

Very rare, very capable and well maintained 4x4 with a 2pc removable hard top! Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to own a LONG WHEELBASE Sammy!

This car has been family owned its entire life. Driven daily to and from work in Vancouver BC, this LWB Sammy hasn't seen more than a couple hundred off-road kilometres. It has some nominal fender rust, like all Samurais, but it's paint is in great condition and the rust can easily be patched. I recently moved to Ottawa, Ontario with the truck from British Columbia and realized that I don't have time to use it like I wanted to. It is overall in great shape; there are a couple of bolster tears on the driver's seat and the carburetor is idling high. I installed a manual choke on the truck and I have replaced the brakes, radiator, rear shocks, exhaust, belts and e-brake on the truck last month. It has 201000 kms (124000 miles), and its top-end was rebuilt fifty thousand kilometres ago. The car has been well-maintained its entire life, with oil changes every 5000kms or so.

Here are the features:

1.3L 4 Cyl engine - Best fuel mileage 4x4!!!
New brakes, new exhaust pipe between cat and muffler, manual choke, new radiator, new belts, new battery, new rear shocks.
K&N Washable Filter, good for a few more horses.
Tires are just over one year old, with lots of tread left.
Comes with a Pioneer CD player with 4 Pioneer speakers.
Alpine SEC-150r alarm (works with roof off (radar)).
Two piece removable hard top; it turns into a little pickup!
Comes with receiver hitch and is set up to tow!
West coast car! Very mild winters!

Known problems:

Bolster tears on the drivers seat
Occasional carb gremlin; idles high
Some small amounts of surface rust, see pictures
The truck can be easily imported into the United States, since it is an older vehicle. It is located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, and I am willing to ship it if you arrange it. Otherwise, come visit beautiful Ottawa, only a days drive from the Northeastern states in the USA and pick it up!

Email samuraiNOSPAM@fun-play.net for more info. Either click the link or remove the NOSPAM. PLEASE USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED; NO PMs!

Thanks!

It you still have it in the summer I will defenatly love to come look at it and I'll have cash. I'm on deployment and this would be perfect for my situation. BTW I can pick it up too since I'm just down in Everett WA.

do you have a top for it? How's the rust?

EDIT it'll be around two months

Hey Bill, you do realize this is on the other side of North America right? He moved it from B.C. to Ottawa.

yup its in Ottawa - I've had lots of interest so It'll probably go pretty quick.

If you want more info and pictures please email samurai@fun-play.net as I am not really checking the board very often. There is very little rust on the body, just a teensy bit on the fender. It's almost immaculate underneath.

Thanks
Ryan
