Micheal Yon and HFM copyright infringement

I don't post in chit chat much, if any, but I think this deserves to be put on pirate if it hasn't already. Micheal Yon, a former Army Special Forces member, and current wartime reporter and photographer, is being taken advantage of by a major French owned media corporation, Hachette Filipacchi Médias. Who is by the way the larges magazine publisher in the world, printing among other main steam magazines Car and Driver and Road and Track.

The short version of this is that HFM stole a now famous picture of Micheal's showing a U.S soilder holding an injured Iraqi infant, and printed it on the cover of a new magazine titled "Shock." The disturbing thing about the matter other than the copyright infringement is that all of Micheal's work is done to shed a positive light on US efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, Yet HFM and Shock are using the image illegaly to put a negative picture on the US military, and claiming we are responsible for the small childs injury. To top it all off, the magazine was released on Memorial day to create a "buzz" and sell magazines at our troops expense..

HFM is denying any wrong doing and refusing to act. Micheal has used his site and rallied all of his readers to contact HFM, their distributors, and advertisers to pull all copies of Shock magazine off the shelves. So far there has been a great deal of success, and I thought I would pass the word on to those here who cared about the matter.

A. It's a french magazine so is thier stand on this really surprising?
B. it's a freaking tabloid so I wonder really how big the circulation is going to be?
