Funny rafting picture...

We went rafting yesterday, and I just had to post this picture. Good times.

Well, fuckin' duh! Who wants a picture of all the time you spend listlessly paddling between rapids.

It was low, sub 2K I'd guess. We got on the water late, too much standing around BSing. I find Troublemaker often times more challenging at low levels due to gunsight and boats getting thouroughly wrapped. Mid levels you can just float on through, High flows there are holes below the rapid that I've seen swallow enormous trees and spit out splinters.

There is a possibility of a Full Moon run Wed night but I haven't heard back on that yet.

lol, know it! I bet the levels are 1350-1650 every day, this time of yr, THIS yr.

I've hit troublemaker and tossed on gunsight @ 1250 / hit the afterholes @ 2400, 4200, and 5800, and always had a rush of energy keeping the craft upright! At 4200 3 yrs ago, we lost half the occupants but didn't toss. Freakin amazing that at levels above 4400 you can traverse river-right and do an amazing shelf-run to hole-toss at Troublemaker. Have you seen river-right during peak flows? Tantalizing!

I'm up in Eldo this upcoming weekend, and through til Wednesday, running it the day of the 16th. I'm available w/ boat on the 12th and 13th... but no boaters. Got plans???
