tube buggy on LWB chevy frame

alright guys I cant do a search on here and I have been searching with yahoo and google for 3 days and havnt seen any good pics of a tube buggy based on a LWB chevy frame. a friend of mine is stuck on doing this and were trying to get some ideas, its a 78 LWB 3/4 chevy with a FF 14bolt rear,44front 350 to TH350,NP205. a good base for a offroad truck. but we have already ditched the body and cut the rear frame off behind the springs. he is wanting to tube it out and i would like to see one done before i start on his. thanks for any info and i know im gonna get some smart ass coments so bring them on too!!

I built a buggy off of an s10 frame and really regret it. I thought i could save the motor mounts, steering box mount, and a couple crossmembers. I ended up moving the motor, steering box, and only have 1 s10 crossmember that had to get moved. If i were to do it again i would start with 2 pieces of 2x4 tubing and build off of that. I'm guessing i could have saved 2-3 weeks (probably 50-60 man hours) starting from scratch. Now an s10 requires more mods then a full size and it depends how involved you want to get. I set up my buggy so the shackles are the thing that sicks out the farthest and the 1st thing to come in contact with everything. I also took 14" of wheelbase out making it a 110" wheel base which is really nice in my book.

Sorry these are the only pics I have. I believe it is on a Suburban frame though.
