I get Wolverine Durashocks. Slipon, 'cause I'm in/out/under houses all day. ~$120.00-$140.00, waterproof, and last me ~2.5 years of everyday wear.

![]() I reread and noticed the hunting all day part. Mine were waterproof for the occaisional puddle, rainy day. Haven't pushed them farther than that.

At the suggestion of the safety engineer at work I bought a pair of Georgia boot Mud Dogs. they are comfortable waterproof steel toe and only cost about $70. I have had them for about 6 months so far and apart from them smelling terrible I love them. I have tried Durashoks, Dr Martins, Redwings etc and so far these come out on top.

Redwings, hands down. I used to be a cellar forman at a winery and during crush, on my feet 10 hours a day 6 days a week for months. Redwings saved my arse. The only boot that kept my knees from exploding.

well i seel boots for a sporting goods store, so im going to have ot go with:
-Georgia -Danner -La Crosse those are my choices, Danner is the best, but costs the most. But you do get a 180 day warrantee on the tread, and a 6 year one onthe Gore-tex. If anything happens to them like a seam rips or some sort of defect that shouldnt happen you get a new pair anytime along the way.... Danner will get you covered |

At first I thought this thread was all about finding as many ways as possible to misspell "comfortable."
I like RedWing and LaCrosse boots.
