Throttle Linkage Ideas?

Some idiot decided he wanted to swap out the Original 22-RE entire engine, and swap it with a older, round style valve cover 22r engine. He used the original throttle cable linkage from the fuel injected setup, and had it duct taped around some heater hose....b lah blah blah. Anyways, i tore all the old linkage out, and was wondering, has anyone ever made there own throttle cable? If so what did you use?
