your assignment.... should you chose to accept it....

.... is to help me find some cheap airfare from here to Orlando Fl.

departing next Wednesday (the 14th)
returning Monday the 19th or Tuesday the 20th

for 3 people (yes.. Jimmy is a full fare)

3 choices for departing cities are (in this preference order) from Ontario, Long Beach or LAX

Eric's aunt has a motorhome for the infield for next weeks opening race in Daytona and we wanna see if we can make this possible.

On your mark.... get set........ GO!

Thank you & god bless

I'm going to be in Orlando that weekend from the 16th-18th, visiting my daughter. Let me know if you need a place to stay. (oops...just realized the "motorhome" is probably the place . But, just in case)
As for airfare...I have to deal with in-state prices so I never do it. You might check USAir; they're cheaper than Delta by far for direct/round trip flights. She's going to Pittsburgh in March for less than I could fly to Orlando from here.

Okay..cominghome on Tuesday was $100 cheaper than coming home on Monday. Looks like travelling with multiple carriers in the best way to go. Orbitz had tix for $377.

Coast to coast is $$ these days...I'm keepin' on lookin'

okay...not having 2 weeks notice is the killer here. Even one week would be better. Continental has RT for 397 tx incl. USAir is so expensive these days, and it's a crappy airline. Continental is one of my favorites.

Everyone is $$, Frontier, JetBlue, AA....Continental had the best price...but it's still 1200 for the three of you!!

EDIT:

Just as I suspected...Leaving teh 21st of Feb, and returning the 28th tickets are $227. Last minute tickets are $$$

yeah-- so far $1200.00 is the best I have found too... which is much better than the $1800.00 I originally started at earlier tonight.

Yep...Hotwire's cheapest was $404 from LAX, returning Tuesday. I think it was Continental. All we have right now are USAir and Delta..no competition at all

You can get tickets for $199 RT, if you , uh, wanna go to Detroit THIS weekend

I love how they sell the crap tickets that no one wants for dirt cheap. I don't care if you charge $10....I'm not going to Detroit.

cheaptickets.com has them for about $320 but with a red-eye . But it would give you a few hours in Vegas .
Good luck...hope you find something.

Frontier usually had flights under $300 (if youbook enough in advance) AND I can fly into La Guardia. That's the best. Saves me $20 on the taxi into the city.

But right now, flying is expensive...I just wanna go somewhere.....except Detroit.

flights aren't cheap right now. I'm making plans to head back east to see the family and it's impossible to find any good deals

Fawk the plane tickets, get yourself an adult diaper, some rubber tubing, a BB gun and some pepperspray and get your ass on the road.

Sorry I had to.

Southwest $233 each from ONtario to Orlando Leaving the 14th and coming back on the 20th.

That's $699 total without the extra three hour drive.
