What next?
Well, as ya'll can see this is my first post here. I've got a DD right now that I plan on putting some money into in the next year or two while I'm paying it off and then using it as a trail bitch. I'm pretty sure my next upgrade is either going to be a Truxxx 2" lift/level kit or a set of pacesetter headers.
What do you think should be my next upgrade while I'm trying to put the suspension lift off for later this year/early next.. ? The tires are brand new as well as the wheels.. so no need there. I personally think I just need more ground clearance, and I need to replace my shocks.. they are starting to squeak at 95k miles. Hydro shocks when I do the Truxxx lift.. or what kind/type of shocks should I look into? Links, specs, and why I should get them over any other would be good. Also, I always hear shit about Rancho shocks, I'm sure it's just a redneck high school thing.. but are they really that great for their money?

Well buddy, first of all evryone on this site is pretty much gonna give you shit about your post. Then there gonna tell you to buy a red star and look it. Then after you try to fit in by doing that there gonna tell you to turn it into a rock crawler or that you are try to make a pretty "mall cruzer" and this is an extream rock crawling site only. Just so your for warned about the conclusions to your question before hand. About your question. If you plan on an awsome suspension for your truck in the feuture, Id just by a set of rancho shocks because there pretty cheep and for a 2 inch lift stock ones are fine. Ranchos are just ase good as any for a pretty much stock highth truck. Well thats all I can help you with there.

Don't waste your money on a leveling kit, unless u just want to crank it up 3 to 4 inches, and that would be a rough bitch. Leveling kits for your truck do the same thing that just cranking your torsion bars would do. If u want 2", just crank your torsion bars up and roll with it, it will be sitting pretty much level and it is free, then just take that $150 and put toward your headers

Let me go ahead and say, my truck is not a mall cruiser. I don't rock crawl with it due to it being a DD, but I do play in fields and mud bogs all the time. I'm off the road 60-75% of the time. I'm waiting for Hannibal Rocks and Rockport to open for some free-wheeling and hopefully some easy beginner trails that I don't have to worry too much about rashin' it up.
