More scrap thieves...
Last night, I was over at my shop working in the parking lot when a beat-up pickup began to drive up the driveway, saw me and slowly backed away. Next thing I see, the guy in the truck is in my next-door neighbor's lot trying to get the dumpster open. As soon as I started paying attnetion, he jumped in the truck and they slowly drove off...
Yep, I called the cops again. They may have shown up, but I got tired of waiting for them. If nothing else, perhaps continued harassment will reduce the incidence of this sort of activity. I'm so glad I'm moving out of that place tomorrow and into a shop behind my new house, or rather that my new shop is behind SWMBO's new house

Sometimes our boss will let us take home scrap metal from work. I was running some bronze pieces in a lathe for 12 hours after the day guy had been doing it also, scraped all the chips out and saved them. $340, I forget how many lbs. Schwing!
