So I'm building a sammy/toy buggy thing and I just got my wiring harness on and ready from Trail Tough and its ready to go in. I planned on doing it this weekend because I work long hours during the week. Then to make matters harder I got this shipment from Rockrat for my toy front and 6.5 gears for my sammy t-case. I should be happy! This should be one sweet day of beer and friends in the garage. The real reason I love wheeling so much after all. Its all just one big excuse to gather us together to drink and rip on each other.
BUT NO MY MOM NEEDS A RIDE TO THE AIRPORT! She's coming to spend the day and night so I can wake up tomorrow and ruin a Sunday driving her to the airport. I love my mom don't get me wrong but that women picks the worst times everytime. Thanks a lot BTW Scott over at Rock4x its been a pleasure. Now mail me my gearbox and twinsticks so I can finish this bitch.

My mom has the uncanny ability to need me at the worst times.
Last week the sump pump went out that pumps the water from the washing machine up to the drain lines overhead. Of course when I pull the holding tank she has to get the tile down where she was re tiling the laundry room. There went the day I took off to catch up on my messes.

I really don't mind helping her and feel bad when I am screwed for time with my family or projects and can't run right over. It just seems she needs help when I have already planned something.

what rear axle you got?

cherokee chief D44 or offset 60??? my old buggy had offset 44's but on 38's and a diesel torqued engine the Ujoints would last about 3 turns

Toy T100/Tundra style axle even though it came out of a taco. Here's a mock up pic of my dirty ass small garage. Weld the rear up and go. I'm going 38's too but I'm using the 1.6l 16 valve so it shouldn't be able to hurt itself too much.
Anyhow mom needs to leave her car here so she can go to Hawaii without me. SFO its about an hour way so screw the taxi.

Alright she just called she's leaving from Merced somebody crash or stall their big rig on 99 north I need some time. I just ran out of welding wire luckily a buddy dropped of a spool of wire he didn't need just the other day(Thanks Chad the Cougerfreak) Is it too early to start drinking beer I just ate breakfast
