Anniversary flowers,,Thinking outside the box OR way off base

I'm going to send some flowers to the wife and have them delivered to her at work(13 year Anniversary

) ,,Now i was thinking instead of the typical red roses in a vase I was thinking of sending sunflowers and putting something corny on the card like "Without the sun,sunflowers would have no meaning.Without out you,I would have no meaning" Or am i way off base here and better stick to the roses

And if the sunflowers sound like a good idea how about some ideas to put on the card instead of the drivel I posted above

I think the sunflowers would be great. I also like to get stargazer lilies because they were our wedding flower. My husband also sends roses, but with a twist, he sends a dozen roses, all red but with one rose either yellow or white...I'm not tellin' ya what it signifies, but it is special to me. Start something like that.

On our 12 month(yeah-MONTH) - I had 12 dozen roses delivered to her work.
Nothing like stacking 144 roses into my lady's cubicle to make all the other girls jealous. Ooohhh, every chick in that office was eyeballing me any time I came in after that.

I happen to live in an area that has MANY small and large nurserys, and alot of local people grow all kinds of different flowers and sell them out of their homes. I bring my wife different stuff all the time. When its something special though I buy from www.proflowers.com. I`ve NEVER been disappointed with anything I`ve bought, and neither has my wife.

They have fast reliable shipping and their prices are very reasonable for the quality. I use them alot for other people also, and they haven`t ever missed an on time delivery. All their deliverys go through FedEx.
