4th of July Car Show

Our car will be at the following Car Show. It is still a little rough but we thought we would show it any way.

We have a LOT of work over the next week since it is a "Daily Driver".

If you have the time, please stop by.

Details are listed below the pic:

Spirit of the 4th

Rancho Bernardo’s 38th Annual Fourth of July Celebration

“Looking for a Few Good Cars”

I would like to invite you to participate with us in our 38th Annual Spirit of the Fourth Celebration Car Show. The Car Show is being held on Wednesday, July 4th, at Webb Park in Rancho Bernardo from 10:00 to 2:30.

There are a limited number of spaces available, and your vehicle would be a wonderful addition to our event. The show (free of charge) will include Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Specialty Vehicles, Trucks and even Race Cars. Our special Race Car display will include a number of Nostalgia Top Fuel dragsters (complete with Nitro Cacklefest) – and among the entries will be the Tommy Ivo-driven Top Fuel dragster that appeared in the movie, Beach Blanket Bingo. Numerous free gifts and awards will be handed out at the show.

Following the Car Show (and other festivities taking place), there is an annual 4th of July Parade – and all Car Show entrants have the option of being in the parade if they desire. In fact, convertibles are wanted to drive celebrities and dignitaries during the parade.

Should you be willing to honor us by bringing your vehicle to our show (or for further details), please contact me at the number below. I look forward to hearing from you.

San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders is this year’s Grand Marshal, and this will be a day to celebrate and cherish the freedoms we enjoy, which are currently under siege in many places around the world. Finally, it is a day to commemorate and appreciate the many people who have sacrificed, and who are, every day, sacrificing, that we may enjoy “liberty and justice for all.”

As it has for a number of years, the celebration will be comprised of several activities over the entire day, from the Festival in the Park to the fireworks display, which will once again be conducted at the stadium at Rancho Bernardo High School. And, of course, the activities will include the annual Independence Day parade.

A new twist this year will be a Pancake Breakfast, from 8:00 to 10:30 AM, hosted by the Poway Kiwanis Club as part of our Community Fair. The Spirit of the Fourth Parade Committee is working hard to add new floats for the parade, and the Vehicle Show should be even more exciting than in previous years.
