fawk fawk fawk :mad::mad::mad:
[rant] I don't even fucking know where to begin!!!!
Yesterday morning we found a new home for the dog. Lady and her 2 kids came over, played with her, and took her home. I did not have the greatest feeling about her, but I marked it off as the woman is just not my kind of people. Less than 2 hours after they left, I got an eamil from her saying that her husband thinks that Riley(sweet puppy) is not for them. I write back and tell her to give Riley a chance. Fuck it, lemme just cut and paste the email chain here... Heath, The amount of food you said you feed her, is not sufficient for the size of dog she is. Maybe that is why she walks around outside eating the cat poop in your yard, because she is still hungry. A lot of different things can cause diarrhea, it's not necessarily the amount of food I gave her. Again this morning, she had another episode of diarrhea in hallway upstairs on the carpet, so there is no way she is fully house trained. You are upset that I am giving her back to you, but yet you signed an agreement with the SPCA that you would take her back there if it didn't work out. Technically you shouldn't have given up on her in the first place. I'm sure you want what's best for her and I think that was with you and your family. Also, in case I forget to mention it when I get there, I pulled 3 dead ticks off of her last night, that were still attached to her skin. She does have a dose of flea and tick stuff on now, that I put on yesterday. At least the ones I pulled off were dead. We will be there sometime before lunch to bring her back. Amy -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Heath M" Amy, Way to give up. She IS house trained, you fed her 4x the amount of food that she normally gets in a day, her system simply could not handle it. I would recommend that you research more before getting another dog, as it sounds like you have pretty high standards, and little knowledge on the care and training of an animal in a new environment. Bring her back, Iva will be here. From: amy. To: "Heath M" Subject: Bringing her back Date: Tue, 10 Jul 2007 07:37:42 +0000 Heath, I thought things were going o.k. until I was awakened at 3:00 a.m. to a huge pile of diarrhea in my spare bedroom. It's totally ruined the carpet! I had to get out our shampooer, and I am trying some other stuff as well, neither of which seem to be getting the huge stain out of the carpet. I do not have the time to crate train her right now, and I since she is not fully house trained, we cannot keep her. I need a dog that is either already fully house trained or crate trained, and I just don't have the time to do either of these myself right now. After my email to you last night, things seemed to be looking up. What time is a good time to bring her back tomorrow? I can come as early as 10:00 a.m. if that is o.k. with your wife. If your wife is not going to be home, I can put Riley inside of the small fenced in area beside, but either way, I cannot keep her another night. Please respond as soon as possible. Amy -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Heath M" Don't give up on the 1st day Amy ;0) Your cat probably smells all of our cats on her. I feed her 1 16oz cup in the morning and the evening, she will scarf down anything you put in front of her. Our catfood was off limits as we have it in a room she can't get into. She will naturally be a little wired, she is still a puppy after all. The kids knew that she was going, they are good with it. My other dog looks relaxed and happy, he gets all the doggie attention now. Giver her a shot, new environment to her and all, she will be nervous at first, but you will find that she is a great all around dog. Heath From: amy. To: "Heath M" Subject: RE: Riley Date: Mon, 09 Jul 2007 20:42:03 +0000 Heath, It seems as if she is missing you all a lot including the other dog. Our cat has been a little rough with her to, which I am not sure why. My husband is not too crazy about her either. He thinks that she might be too hyper for us. I did give her a bath, blow dryed her and then brushed her, and she seemed to enjoy all of that. She has been really hungry. I gave her 3 & gt; cups of dry food once we got home, which she ate real quick, and I also gave her some dog treats. Then she managed to eat a lot of the cats food, almost all that was in the dish. I caught her doing that. I am not sure if this will work out, but if it doesn't, I can bring her back to you or you are welcome to come get her, especially if everyone there misses her so much. Amy -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Heath M" Amy, Not at all:0) that was the woman I was talking about whose husband wanted a 30lb dog. You are all set to get attached and luv her. What does your Hubby think? Our other dog is moping now, hopefully he will get over it. The kids have requested that ya'll bring her back to visit every now and then:0) Thanks know if you need anything! Heath To: "Heath M" Subject: Riley Date: Mon, 09 Jul 2007 20:18:54 +0000 Heath, I am just now checking email again and got to read this one that you sent after I left to come to your house. She is doing well so far, but we are not attached to her just yet since we just brought her home. I have no problems with the other person who was still interested in her, coming over here if they would like. It's not a far drive at all. I guess I should have checked my email again before we left to come to your house. Why don't you have your wife contact the other person and see if they are still interested. I feel really bad about not getting your email before I left and if the other person was already interested, they should get an opportunity with her first. Let me know what you think. Amy I mean seriously!!! What kind of fucking waterhead feeds a dogg all it can eat, then bitches when it shits everywhere?!?!?!?!? She fucking gets as much food as our 80lb dog, and the vet usually tells us we are feeding them too much!!!! Good thing I am not home, she is bringing the dog back in a bit. Hopefully she will piss the wife off enought that she gets her numb fuckin c*nt handed to her[/rant]

The dog probably has seperation anxiety (which is casuing part of the runs). Honestly, take the dog back and find someone that really cares for it. Obviously this lady wants a fully trained dog where she has to put NO effort into it.

Ummm yeah. That much food, and cat food, now house. Given a bath? Blow dried? Jesus. Is she trying to give the dog a panic attack? I'd say the poor dog is stressed to the max.
![]() Fawking stupid people. I have a bad feeling I'm going to be going thru the same thing. We have a Fox Terrier that we need to find a home that we rescued last week. Sweet little dog. But we already have 2 and just can't keep her. Maybe I need to call Mo and drop her off.

I could tell from the first email she sent (the bottom one, about the other people getting first shot at the dog) that she didn't want it once she got it home. Some people are too stupid to own animals. She is one of those people.

meh...I deal with this shit on a daily basis. x2 on the stuff animal.
![]() BTW: anyone want some free ferret cages, food and supplies (G/F just picked those up last night), a black cocker spaniel - that looks like she'll need to be on medications for the rest of her life, a pit bull puppy that's getting over the mange, and I coyote mix that loves to howl at sirens. Do I need a yellow star to pimp out the foster critters?

People amaze me sometimes.
Our English setter, for the first year or so of her life, ate EVERYTHING that was out of place on the floor. Nuts, Bolts, Earrings, Dryer lint, socks, and the carpet. One of us would be scooping poop in the back yard, and it was like a redneck treasure hunt. "Honey! Come over here, check this out!" When you fed her, she would try to eat until she puked, and then she'd eat that. She was a PUPPY!!Yes, DUH when dogs are stressed they'll get the runs. And having the runs has NOTHING to do with being house trained. When you gotta go, you gotta go! Like she's gonna be able to sit at the door and scratch or whatever she does to have to be let out and wait for you to get off your fat ass or out of bed to let her out? How many people can wait when they feel sprinkler butt coming on? ![]() Yes, this lady deserves a stuffed animal. Or tell her to get one of those damn Sony dogs. But she probably couldn't take care of IT either. Fawk. Hope the little pup gets a better home next time.

Why are you not outside filling her car with glitter while she is inside your house running her yap?

Did she even feed the same kind of food?
![]() Save your dog and take him back. If a hair is out of place, she'd throw a fit about it. He'll be wearing tutus before too long.

Holy fawk. I've got a 50 pound sack of lard in the backyard that gets more food that he should, and he still eats poop.
Take the dog back, tell her to take a fawking leap into a bed of nails and be gone with herself.....................

Jeez.. 3 cups + treats (more than one) + cat food? you would get the shits too if you ate all you could then had ice cream then chinese food. Both of my dogs are fed what they should and they both eat cat poop. The lab eats the other dogs poop. Which is nasty. Vet says it's normal though.

if she isnt feeding the dog the same food ou were, that can easily cause diarea allong side with the compounded stress of the move. And with the eating of cat shit, I think all dogs love cat shit. My dog willeat cat shit if we let her get near the litter box. Hell, when the cats walk by my dog, her nose is so far up the cats ass, it ends up walking on its front legs only.
this woman was in no way near ready for a dog of any age. Im sure the dog scratched or whined to be let out before it couldnt hold it anymore. If it happen at 3am, either everyone slept through it or they ignored it. |

Yeah, as far as the poop goes...
My setter was from a kennel, where, apparently they learned some bad habits. When we first got her she'd do the monkey dance in the back yard while vacuuming up what she put down. ![]() The vet gave us a couple pills that's supposed to make it taste nasty coming out, and that stopped it cold. It was cool that it worked on her. She did eat cat poop. Several of our neighbors had cats and they'd get into the back yard. She got worms that way. x2. Now she just chases them off. Both dogs (the setter and the pom) will eat human poo if given the chance to do so. I HATE people that don't bury their shit when camping for this reason. |

Just be glad the dog is coming back to you and not being put down.

Dogs will commonly eat their own as well as other animals' feces. Puppies are known to eat their own excrement during paper training and housebreaking, and it is believed to be due to a combination of physiological and behavioral factors.
On the physiological side, since the digestion of food is not always complete, puppies still see nutrient value in their feces and view it as a snack. Often dogs are attracted to undigested rice, corn or peanuts in their stool if they happen to consume these foods. Maximizing digestion can help solve this problem. To do so, add enzyme supplements to their food, such as meat tenderizer (from the supermarket), papaya extract (a natural enzyme available at health food stores) or products from pet supply stores especially designed to help dogs digest. Mix the enzyme powder in each meal, and let it sit for 15 minutes prior to feeding it to your pet. This should eliminate the presence of anything they view as "good" in their stool. It will not help with the peanuts or corn, but these foods should not be fed to your pet in any event.

ya heef just be glad the dog is coming home and you have an oppurtunity to find a better place for her, after reading the email transaction i would feel bad leaving a good dog with her. she was really bitching to you about her carpet being messed up. maybe she should take the dog for a walk, she probally leaves her in the house all day and wonder why she pooped.
dumb ass
