Now that it's not raining, you should have a great time.

Tent camping or an RV spot? There's a sweet little place right across the Comal river that we always stay at, you have to cross the river to get to the park but it's a 50 yard walk and the river is only a foot or 2 deep most of the time. I'll look for the info but this is an RV spot place, no tents.

You never know with Dan Dibble, he could be looking to buy a townhouse.

My inlaws own a townhouse right there on the comal, you can see the rear gates of the park from the porch... but you also have a couple thousand retards tubing down the river between you and the park all day. It gets old real fast, we barely go once a year now.

They're looking for something out in the country, something with less beer cans on the front lawn every weekend.

Schlitterbahn. Sounds like a good name for a beer. Or one of those naughty areas of the female anatomy.
Fun facts- your average waterpark removes about 5 pounds of fecal matter from the water every day.

We spent all day at the one on S Padre Is. It was too much. We got bored about halfway through the day. They say New Braunsfield is a bit better.

Hey it never rains in Texas.
It just POURS!Went down to San Antonio this past weekend. Pouring rain, averaged about 20 mph. 5 hours from Austin to San Antonio. Heading home Sunday took us a 'normal' 90 minutes. ![]() Looks like we will get popped with a little more rain this week. ![]() Tom |

Schlitterbahn means slippery way (road) in German.

I'd stay at my parent's house, personally.

There are a number of RV parks along 35 and Canyon Lake, we are planning on a trip to Canyon Lake hopefully before the summer is up.

They're pretty old, and not really all that nice, but it fucking rocks to be able to walk out the door, walk across 2 feet of sidewalk, and already be in the park.

it gets pretty packed around there...reservations might be tough.
But have fun... And go to the Salt Lick, not Rudy's, for BBQ!
