What direction do your clothes hang?
This thought popped into my head as I was doing laundry last night. Does everyone hang their clothes the same direction? Any reason for the direction?
I guess the direction of my closet was determined pre-birth by my mother's tendancies... Poll en-route Yes, I'm dumb and spelled dryer incorrectly....

Don't really care, but I always have the hangers over the rod the same direction so I can take a lot of clothes off at the same time in case of fire, if I have a chance.

I think the better question is "does the hook loop left or right when you put the clothes on the hangers, or are you a normal person that doesn't worry about such creepy OCD things?"

I like them all the same way, and when I have time, I try to make sure they are...also, I like them hung by color

Not hung the same way. I used to group things like short sleeve, long sleeve, pants, skirts etc. I let hubby back into the closet and it's just chaos on both sides.

Hmmm maybe I am OC all my clothes face the same way (right) and are sort out t-shirts, polos, dress shirts, pants, sweats and when I some thing out the empty hangers have a place to.

My closet has an L-shape.
Clothes that face me hang on the side so I can see the front (work/nicer clothes) Clothes that I see from the side/edge (t-shirts) it doesn't matter.

About the only thing I do, is try and keep dress shirts on the left, and "nice" t-shirts on the right.
Everything else falls in the middle. And if i screw up my current system, I don't care that much. When I wear the shirt again, I will put it in its correct place........hopfully.

OCD here. the hookie part of the hanger points to the left always. and when you put the hanger in the shirt the left side goes in first. pants all hang together and dresses all hang together. skirts go on a skirt hanger. shirts are hung by collar or no collar.

Mine hang with the left shoulder facing the wall (determined by closet layout to be facing the door). This, of course is the correct way and my husbands has to have his hanging the opposite direction (also known as the wrong way!)
