This is what you do when you get angry at your PC .

Well I have been around heavy equipment all my life , and am a Operator by trade. Well I stumbled across these old pictures from when I was younger and just thought it might amuse you guys.
it was my old pc from when I was around 15 or so , and it had so many issues I just wanted to destroy it. Our family owned a golf course growing up so I had access to the dozer . Anyways here are pics for all you who wish you could get revenge against your havoc wreeking pc's.

I'm just curious.

Are you the retarded kid running the marathon in the often posted black and white picture or are you just related to him?

From your picture I can't tell.

Hope that was worht the $20 in fuel it took not to mention the leeching of lead and other toxic substances from the case that will inevitably poison some poor soul that falls into one of hte water hazzards on the ol golfcourse.

When I was in college, IBM was discontinuing the PC-Jr. I worked at a testing lab... IBM had to characterize the PCs for disposal.

My job was to put the PCs in trash bags and conduct particle size reduction... I dropped concrete blocks off the fire escape onto them. If I'd only known how much I'd learn to hate computers in the near future!

And, I got paid to do this!

Sorry Bubba ... "old PC's" had two floppy drives if you were really uptown, "memory" measured in kb, monitors with displays that were either amber or green, and operating systems that were purchased separately.

Ooooo, and who had a "Bermoulli Box" for expanded data storage?

Hell, we ran complete US Senate campaign committee records systems on those dinosaurs.

Oh yeah ... "mouse"? We don' need no steenking "mouse" ... we're workin' in DOS baby!!

Those floppies were also 5 1/2"!

A 10" monitor was big.

I was going to say...that's a very interesting analogy you bring up there.

Big91RustyBucket's mother was, I'm guessing, not happy she gave birth to something...shall we say...chromosomally deficient. Did SHE run him over with a dozer? Unfortunately, no, she didn't have bad post partum depression.
Should have just let it go.

yup, and then there was the tape recorder. Push play and record at the same time to save your program.

Anyone else here use one of the old 300 baud modems that had two suction cups that you placed the old style phone handset into, after manually dialing up the bbs you wanted to connect to? Here's one... 300 Baud Acoustic Modem

Check this link out... Back in the Day

I remember it, but I entered the computing arena *just* after that.
