Louisville, KY

Ok trying this again... (my old thread may show back up-reply to whichever you feel the desire to)

We are here and settled in enough to start thinking of a cook-out/meet the new people kinda thing.

We are in Shelbyville, it's about 30 minues East of Louisville.
We can do beer, drinks, food!
We have an above ground ,30 ft round pool, in case it's still as hot as hell as it is now. We are wanting to set up somewhere to shoot things on the side property, maybe if given the thought of people coming over, it will speed us up.

Either pm me or reply here and we can get something going. I'm not on much do to my slow assed satellite connection but will make an effort to check this and pm's.

We have twin 5 year olds, so kids are welcome---or we can try to plan it for when my parents will have the kids and do it kid free. That limits us quite a bit though.
All are welcome...just let me know what dates work for everyone. Start throwing some out there and we can go from there!!!

Sure to be a good time had by all.

DRM, yeah, it's more than a hop, skip and jump for you.

Bob, awww, come on, what's 2200 miles amongst friends.
Too bad we didn't get have a chance to meet up in Oxnard. This move was a 14 day turn around. You know how the Navy is.

If you don't mind riding in the back seat with the dogs, we'll drop ya the weekend of the 25th. We'll be heading about an hour north on 65.

Shush you! I'll have you know that Nick got a new grill with this move. We could do a bonfire of moving boxes.

Come on, doesn't anyone love me

Sorry, we're not going to make it! I drove to Ft Knox once to visit my sister, and while I know a lot of people bag on Texas for being shitty, I didn't see anything in Kentucky that made the drive worth doing again.

Welcome to Louisville! Hot and humid enough for you?!
Shelbyville is a nice quaint little town, you should enjoy it.

I'm over in Louisville, in the J-town area so not too far from you. Let me know when you guys decide to have a cookout and I'll see if I can bring my wife and 3 year old daughter along.

Also, I'll keep you in mind next time we go wheelin' if you're interested.

Mitch

P.S. - You gotta pick a college team real quick, UofL of UK (regardless of who your true favorite is you have to prefer one of the KY teams over the other).

Yeah, I love you, Tina....can't open my PMs and mail bounced (I'm at work). Screw David. I go right by his house a dozen or more times a year and never get an invite....I'd just show up there unannounced but he's crazy and gots guns.

Just did the Waterson 500 last week; your new digs are only a couple of hours from me. Month of August is tight but September's open and I can throw some wood in the back of the pickup.

I'd be honored and proud....thanks for the invite.

Regards,

PICK LOUISVILLE!!! GO CARDS!!!!
I responded in the other thread but if there is anything you need to know about the town just let me know...Like I said, born and raised there. Also, when you decide to do the interior of your house, stop by Making Ends Meet and ask for Leslie, tell her Brent sent you.

I'll stop in. Might want to wait until next month when the weather calms down. Too friggin' hot and humid to do much.
