Just sounds like a pissed of wrench to me.
I do know however, that with the sky high fuel prices, and the cheep freight out there right now that a great many truck dealers are laying off everyone they can, because noone is buying new trucks. I've been looking on ebay and other places, and the used truck market (and the new market as well) are begging people to buy anything.
Further, with the outrageous dealer shop rates, and most independent truck shops being better quality at lower rates, the dealer shops are only getting warrantee work.
In the heavy truck world, the manufacturers have cut the billable shop time on repairs to way below what it actually takes to do the job and won't budge on it. Mainly because all the new emmisions crap, and mercedes engines in general are warrantee nightmares.
The Volvo (truck) dealership my wife worked at is laying off everyone they can, and only giving raises/bonuses to the top few and their kids that work there.
Don't be so hard on the guy. Unless there's asshattery not included in this thread, I don't see anything really worth laughing at.
