Not many things make me feel happier than....

Watching my dog having a dream. She's here in the office with me today. Sleeping NEXT to her bed , and dreaming away.... legs kicking, woofing, ears twitching. She cracks me up.

Our Rott pup does that too. Always good for a chuckle.

My dog was humping someone in his dream the other day. It was a little disturbing.

Ruger does that too. Not sure if it's a good or a bad dream so I just pet him and tell him it's ok.

My lab used to do that too. Funny as hell.

Damn I miss him.

Now, my current dog, a Maltese/Bijon mix, never sleep. She's always in my way during the night, that I'm constantly kicking/throwing her to the end of the bed, and there's so much activity during the day, it's doubtful that she sleeps then either.

Bout the only real sleep I've ever seen her get, is when we were camping.

I've seen my dogs have at least three kinds of dreams. the barking dream, the running dream, and the puppy nursing dream. I alsways wish I could know just what he is dreaming about.

Mine sleeps in my office also, she usually has at least one doggy dream a day. Kinda weird when her eyes are open and twitching and her paws are running .

I did the same thing for my chocolate lab. I'd just rub his belly.

My rottweiler has the death growl/snarl teeth/kill something dream. I hope he's not planning a mutiny.

the little chuffs that Tucker makes when he is dreaming are the cutest noises! I love it! I just giggle and stare at him and he eventually wakes up because he always knows when someone is 'looking at him'.. it's weird.

Dogs have such an easy life!

I did the same for my black lab. Ach, it would break my heart to hear her whimpering in her sleep.

Damn I miss her, too.

She's seems to be doing well. Got the stitches out yesterday, no new lumps, going on the high dose Prednisone treatment starting next Friday and lasting three weeks.
