Hootentown mud race rules

Class 1, 33” hobbie class
--V8 rigs can have, some lift,and very mild engine mods
--6cly with single cam can have mild engine mods
--4cly can have engine mods and run 36”tires
--rigs must remain 80% factory stock
-- must have tow clevis on rear bumper
--no performance chips on diesels
--dot tires only
--exaust must be within 12” of rear axle

class 2, 36” offroaders
--V8 rigs can have, some lift,and very mild engine mods
--6cly with single cam can have mild engine mods
--4cly can have any engine mods and run any dot tire
--rigs must remain 60% factory stock
-- must have tow clevis on rear bumper
--dot tires only
--exaust must be within 12” of rear axle
--must have factory style suspention &and drive train
axle swaps ok
--open top rigs must have a roll bar and helmet

class 3, 44” outlaw

--oem frame
--some type of full body
-- any 44” tire
--all general safty rules aply

class 4, 36”modified

--oem frame, body, axels,driver,can be swaped around
but must remain in stock location
--naturaly aspirated gasoline only
--open exhaust ok
--dot tires only
--6” maximum motor setback
--all general safty rules apply
--no aluminium blocks






Class 5, 40”modified

--oem frame, body, axels,driver,can be swaped around
but must remain in stock location
--naturaly aspirated gasoline only
--open exhaust ok
--dot tires only
--6” maximum motor setback
--all general safty rules apply
--no aluminium blocks

class 6, open pro
--run what u brung
--wide tire rigs run first
--all general safty rules apply

So, is it drags or bogs? Drags don't typically separate classes by tire size.

Its what we call drags. Single pass through the mud per class fastest time wins. Similiar to the ones at Summers at the River a few years back but single lane istead of side by side.
