What to look for

Going to check out an 87 F250 w/ 5.8 V8, auto trans, 4x4. I'm a Toyota guy so I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Any help would be great, going to look at it on Sunday, sellers asking 1500.
What should I look for or listen for mechanically? Problem rust areas? Any help would be appreciated.

make sure it doesnt have the AOD transmission... you want a E40D or C6... im about 99% sure it would be a C6...

check for rust maybe? lol. other than that... most of these trucks are straight forward... most problems were the AOD and E40D, but the E40D can be built to last...

oh and auto locking hubs. but thats probably way before those...
