East Coast Canada ATV Pull off and mud bog

Here is a press release for a race I am helping organize. Figure there might be some guys interested in this part of the race (you have to remmeber this is drag racers with ATV's , not 4x4er's with ATVs) If anyone here is interested or has a freaking monster ATV and wants to be more than just a regular competitor, pm me and I should be able to set something up. Maybe some Canada/US grudge matches or something. It will be broadcast live on the internet by YourWayNetwork, and there are going to be several TV crews there, even some from Holywood. Miramichi Dragway Park is more than just a dragstrip...

Terry McGraw and the hard working folks at MDP have built an ATV Pulling strip as well as a fully functional ATV Pull Sled (weight transfer sled) for competitive ATV Pull Matches.

SO YOU GUESSED IT...the G&G Brothers ATV POWER PULL NATIONALS are scheduled to be part of the weekends events in Miramichi August 1st-3rd 2008! (reference to the CFSC2008 World Street Event)

The extra horsepower related festivities will take place over the course of Saturday evening after the conclusion of the day's racing. They will be held directly in front of the main grandstands in the large beer garden/midway area of the facility...so everyone can be part of the action!!

There will be no boring down-time at the EDRS in 2008!!! AS A BONUS, A select few of the most powerful ATV's on the planet will host ATV Power Pull Grudge Matches in the event of on-track breakage during drag racing that requires clean-up downtime.

So Racers, PUT THE "BIG TUNE-UP" in ALL of your equipment... if you think you got what it takes just bring it to Miramichi in 2008!!! For the Extreme Drag Race Shootout...and ATV POWER PULL NATIONALS!!

The ATV POWER PULL NATIONALS ARE OPEN TO EVERYONE!! Racers and non-racers/spectators alike. As long as you bring your machine and the proper safety equipment you're in!!

MDP also has a Mud Drag Race pit for those ATV and bike enthusiasts who just can't get enough power and action!! The pit will be available at select times throughout the weekend for you to try your luck, and your machine in the real deal!! ATV Mud Drags at MDP!!

TIME: The ATV Power Pull Nationals are scheduled for Saturday Night at 7pm-9pm
REGISTRATION: Registration will be held at the Event registration trailer Friday 2-5pm and Saturday 11am-5pm
COST: The cost is $10/entry (ATV & rider) All proceeds to go to the EDRS event charity, Miramichi Youth House
AWARDS: There will be Awards for the winner and runner-up of the ATV Power Pull Nationals

MUD DRAGS

This is a grudge match or single run situation only, not competition!

NOTE: ALL ATV activities will be monitored by event staff, meaning NO unsafe activities and NO alcohol!

The Extreme Drag Race Shootout is a festival of EXTREME MOTORSPORTS, inlcuding 12 classes of extreme drag racing. This INTERNATIONAL event is expected to host in excess of 8,000 people and approximately 300 competitors from around the world in 2008, and also boasts over $140,000 in prizes up for grabs for competitors.

The Extreme Drag Race Shootout is certainly a family atmosphere that is presented as a weekend-long FESTIVAL including Extreme Motorsports, Charity Auctions/Draws, a full Media Day where media from around the world will experience the thrill of racing against their peers in the WORLDS FASTEST MEDIA Shootout, a large Midway of Interactive Exhibits, a Family Day (Saturday) with free Children's Activities (including games, crafts, rides and FREE Monster Truck rides for the kids), a CAR SHOW, Live Music, an International Cruise of competition vehicles in Miramichi, Sampling of Atlantic Canada Cuisine, ATV Pulling Matches and much more.

Currently 4 countries will shipping competition vehicles by ground and sea to compete in one of the EDRS headline classes; LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS Real Street Outlaw/WORLD STREET II Event. Those countries are; Canada, USA, Britain and Australia.

CAMPING: On-site Event camping is available.

Standard tent and small trailer camping is available with weekend admission for $30/per carload (max 5 per car or site)
LIMITED amounts of Fenceline Motorhome/Large trailer camping is available for $100/site/carload (max 5 per site.Carload). This is on a first come first serve basis.
