El Dorado Natl Forest Trail ?'s

I have seen the trailhead of a trail near Leek Springs on several hunting trips but have never run it.

Its located off Hwy 88, between Caples and Silver Lakes (turn off near Corral Flat), head West a short bit to Leek Springs lookout. Runs from near the lookout along Plummer Ridge parallel to the Cosumnes River, past Buckskin Joe Springs, and then cuts south towards Armstrong Hill area (does not actually reach there though) or hop on a semi-improved road to Capps Crossing.

It most likely is not a very difficult trail, but I am looking for some info so I can take some stockers up, including full-sizes

Now, no bitching about posting trail info on the 'Net. This trail is readily marked 4WD in bright red on a El Dorado Forest Map. problem is it does not list a road/trail number. Of course the map I have is nearly as old as I am though so things may have changed....

TIA
