I was just curious about how the sliders would perform on road?

not sure yet To my knoledge no one has this setup in the front like me I am planning on adding some bilstein 7100 remote res shocks with 12" of travel at all four wheels. and possibly timbren bumpstops if the budget runs out. gonna run a center limit strap in the front to keep my frontend from unloading. havent decided exactly how much downtravel i will allow. suggestions welcome

I didn't see it anywhere in the thread, are those DIY beadlocks? My computer screen sucks ass but they look they are Allied.

Either way, build looks sweet man. I'm especially digging the tube work so far.

They are some Freelocks i got when i worked at Genie industries. I was buddys with the lazer operator there and he cut me some 1/4" inners, and 3/8" outers, 32 bolt rings. i welded them onto some 15x7" 4" bs regular steelies i got for 25 bucks a peice. threw 11 OZ of airsoft pellets in em, bam done. the 3/8" rings are a little heavier than i wanted but i couldnt argue with him, I traded an EMPTY Big bearing 9" ford housing for the locks.

^ Understood, but maybe you should take as a compliment to your build.

With 3/8" outers are you worried the inners will cone and maybe crack a weld? Let us know how well they hold air.

Aiming for 20.5" of FLAT belly on the 38's... got the next four days off work. should get something good done tomarrow The extreme fender cutting is for factory bumpstop placement (relative height) and the 38's.

I planned on sticking with 3.5" and 35"s, but I'm gonna have to see how yours comes out. 37" rockers might be it for me
