surpluscenter.com page 38 of their catalogue...item # 9-6645.... 1.5"x8" double acting cylinder for 49.95......this is the cylinder i have on my cruiser....i cut off the ends and welded heims on it and use it as a assist cyl... works good so far....

can you get away with running an 8" on a LC axle? I will be changing to a Dana soon and dont want to buy two rams.

i limited my ram with an internal "plug" that was 1" long made of derilyn? ( i think thats how its spelled) basically hard plastic. lines were 15 bucks-ish and about another 12.00 in fittings. 38 for the p/s box gasket kit from napa and an evening of time to teardown, clean, drill-tap the saginaw box and reassemble. figure another couple bucks for brake-clean, p/s fluid etc.... BTW i paid 52.00 for my ram shipped when i bought it... heims i already had.....
