I was told that a stock xj pitman arm was equal to a 4" drop. I want to know if anyone has done this and if the draglinks are a direct bolt on or is ther any modifications that will need to be done. If anyone has any actual info on this I would love to hear.
This is for a 90 fullsize blazer.
I know all about crossover steering for this truck and thats not what I am askin about just so we are CLEAR. thanks Rob
the only arm available is a 2" from National
trust me GO CROSSOVER
the bumpsteer from that short draglink can never be cured
you need a long draglink
if you insist on the front back you will find the best results having the draglink angle down towards the rear
this will have the arc the draglink travels in negate the fact that the axle travels rearward while compressing for at least a little bit of bump until the draglinkhits level and the arc begins to shorten the effective length while the axle continues to travel rearward as the spring flattens
