Show your home work area.

Some of us aren't fortunate enough to have our own shop, so we have to make due with a carport.

ahhh yes base housing, I knew the first shirt on first name basis and my wife was the one in the Air Force.

What I've got for a garage at the moment isn't much better than a car port. Hopefully soon I'll be back in a real shop again.

I'm a carport wrencher. The kids run around the carport barefooted so I try to do all of my metal cutting, grinding and welding out in the back yard next to my shed.

One of the things that bugs the shit out of me is when people have a perfectly good garage and it's a storage space and there is no way in hell your getting a car into it. I grew up in a house without a garage and I hated it. Now that I have a garage it is probably one of the best organized rooms in the whole damn house.

dude, my rig is a 30 minute drive from where I live, and it's parked outside in a dirt (read: mud) lot.

I'd be happy with your tent.

A few years ago, but basically the same..

This was a few years ago during an OX Locker install on my bro's TJ - that's my '66 Porsche 912 project on the right (undergoing an SHO V6 swap). My poor old Bronco has to sit out in the driveway...

Well, it a work in progress.. I have a lot to do in my shop still. We just moved here in the late fall, so I have not got it fully set up yet.. Oh, yea.. The car is my sister-in-law's, I am just doing a little body repair on the nose where she took out a headlight & damaged the fender..

This is kind of a long distance pic, but you can kinda see the garage. I'll see if I can find a better one.

Found a closer one. We were in the process of moving in, it looks a lot better now!

I’m working on shop plans. 40x60, it won't happen soon enough. The good news is my wife is more anxious than I am for the shop...she tired of looking at it!

For you carport guys, dont you worry about somone stealing your shit? I've got $$$$ tied up in tools, sure wouldnt want them to walk away!

"One of the things that bugs the shit out of me is when people have a perfectly good garage and it's a storage space and there is no way in hell your getting a car into it"

Me too, my father didnt use it for storage but there was never enough room to park a car/truck in it. Too small of a garage with too many tools/benches/lawnmowers hogging up all of the space. Spent a few days working on my car/his car in the driveway in the fuggin rain

Right now I dont have anywhere to work my POS. With my crack head neighbors I am afraid to leave my tools alone for a second. Including parts...

Currently, no, I live in a gated community with 24hr armed patrols through the neighborhood, but if I lived out in town, ya damn right I would lock my stuff up. This base is safe enough that I usually leave my keys in the Jeep, at the house and at work.

You said "home work area", but you didn't specify what kind of work, so...
