Just picket up a Makita 7" grinder today from Home Depot......for $128..

Any good? Will it last?

4" grinders suck for cleaning axles off

I never had any luck with the small Makitas so I don't know. Let me know how it works/lasts for you.
I've got an old Black & Deckek 7" Wildcat that's awesome but when it dies I'll replace it with a Milwaukee.

I"ve got a 7" dewalt and I love it for big stuff. Great to see brackets disintegrate in seconds. I don't know about the Makita but I know mine works great.

I used my new HF 7" today. It did the job but vibrated like a sonofabitch. That gets rough on the hands after a while.
I'll buy a good one soon.
