Nice size shed. 58 yards of concrete
A floor that size takes about 24.5 yards. The rest is in the ground? Is it "unstable" soil?

I suspect with that much concrete he has around a 6" deep floor, plus support beams. Need to look it up, but four trucks (approx 40 yards) delivered the slab for my 30' x 50' slab. Yes, 6" floor. #5 rebar 16" o.c. footers and beams. About $13K in the slab... just need a SHOP on top of it! ![]() James... what are the side walls made out of? Side note... traded off on my shop. Two story building. Down stairs is 10' ceiling. Upstairs will be office space/guest room/large "bonus room" (finished out in the future). 1500 sq ft of space. ![]() Tom

one corner I had to use a engineer for the slab. I guess you know why there is 58 yards in the slab. I don't think the (homeboys) that finished the slab had ever finished concrete before. James
