Homebrew.... rear corners ???
Looking for advise and pictures on fabricating some hombrew'd rear cornerguards for a YJ...... what's the radius on the tub ??? anyone make these.......

do a quick search a guy did it not too long ago using a torch and clamping a piece of metal to his tub

That was probably me-
I made mine for my '42 Flatfender. I first made a cardboard template then plasma cut it out of a sheet of 1/8" diamond plate. Then I clamped it to my tub with c-clamps and vise-grips, leveled it to the tub then heated it with a torch to bend it around the tub. This did mess up the paint in the area but I didnt care since the tub was getting a new paintjob later on. Finished, I used 1/4" buttonhead bolts to secure them to the tub: |

i used 1/8" diamond plate also cause that's what i had lying around but would recommend 3/16".

I made mine on my CJ5 by going with the clamp/torch/weld method. Looked great when I was done.

tub radius
the radius is the same as a ping pong paddle.

On a TJ the radius is 3.25 inches.

no, it isn't super hardcore, but it's interesting to see other people's home fabbed versions with their method of bending, and to document the radius for the search function.
