yep, that is my wife in the passenger seat.

big stinky is for sale. the current owner has changed the 55 front clip to a 40 front. funny thing is though, they keep it in an old barn that most people would not even see. if you look closely you can see it in there. it looks like some kinda mad max farm implement.... which it is.

andy, i think the price is $16K to $17.5. not sure, but i will find out this next week. the rig is in sonoma.

don, i still have some work ahead of me to get the truck on the road. diesel is in, 70 series axles are done and in, suspension is done. i still have to do wiring, brake lines, steering, and paint. maybe end of feb.

got the BBC stuck in it over the weekend. just gotta gusset the mounts and start on the belly pan.

after bely pan, Im gonna get going on the floor and rockers.

got a MONSTER picked out. howe, double pass, a hair wider than the frame and 20 inches tall and three inches thick! and plenty of room for a 19" fan

put a few more hours on it today. had a handfull of scrap metal from under my bench, and a couple pieces of cardboard and 3 cups of coffee,......

inner rails are scabed with 3/16, 1-3/4 .120 tubes, bushing tube 2" .250 (steel puck inst for mock up), 1/8" HR for gussets.

Only thing I don't like about the mounts that run under the engine is if one day you need to pull the pan for a gasket leak or investigative purposes it can be a real PITA.
