My new buggy

After 10 months and too much $$$ finally finished it. Its a little dirty from riding this weekend. And broke (six shooter arm broke off where it goes into the trunion bearing.

Looks good, Rob. It was good to meet ya'll this weekend. Hopefully the next time this event comes around I'll have my real rig ready. Either way, I still had a good time this go round. Get that arm fixed up and keep flogging the thing!

Never mind that rats nest of wires on the driverside under the dash. Thats where my ARB is and I was troubleshooting why it wont build pressure.

Good question....It pushed the knuckle over into my ball gusset, which jammed the Long up and would not let the wheel turn (i.e. roll; drive flanges). Thus........DNF.

Benny.....Sorry your luck was worse than ours!! About where u crashed, my P/S belt went out and I couldnt turn very good.

BTW- Since I am such a Lemming, I made it look like a King of the Hammers rig!! (Mustard Dog is my Hero!!)

Light bar, rear facing amber, Lowrance GPS, Iroks, etc.

Of course, if I cant finish a 2.5 mile race, what makes me think I could finish a 50 mile race!

Thanks for all the comments guys.

the rig looks really good! for some reason i like the light bar. if you ever wanted to or ever have problems, you could make your driveline a lot stronger for not much $$ at all. my suggestion would be run stock 4:10 R+P in the diffs and get a yota dual case set up, with 4:7's in the rear case. then you'll be just as low as you are now but have much stronger diffs and t-case's. ive seen a lot of toyota 5.29's give way with 37's and your running 42's........ so id say its a matter of time.

Nice rig. 42 inch stickies thats what i run on my Dana 60s. I think to big of tires for toyota running gear. When we don't recommend anything over 39.5.

I hear ya Bobby, but with ARB's I can unlock the diff if its looking bleak. There are guys running rear steer Toy's (some with v-8s) with 42's around here and they are surviving. Its not your shafts I am worried about anyway!

This rig is bad. Saw it at Uwharrie Cross after they broke and wish i could have seen it in action. I did offer up generiously to trade my non-sticky iroks for the stickies to take some strain off that front end.

Sweet rig. You should bring it up to ZukiMelt at the Badlands in July. Would love to see it in person.

So is Zukimelt the 10-12 or 24-26 of July? Since I am an East coaster, I try to do the Zu, but if its the 10-12, that is a weekend we can probably do it.....

Saw your rig at the race, super clean looking, sorry to hear you DNF, we barely did with no brakes after some jumping action.
