My first attempt at modifing the stock dash. I glued an abs sheet over the top. It works fine but I wanted something more solid.

I did mine like your old one- an aluminum sheet riveted to the original plastic... not the sturdiest thing in the world but it seems like it will do the job.

hey green truck I think you still have your bed on your rig my truck is 150 miles away from me so I cant go measure it. can you measure your bed between the rails height and width. I need to measure for a truck box

I like the look of the ABS plastic one,

Pretty much what I want to do with mine, just more important things need attention on my truck right now to bother with my interior.

Heres how mines set up:



I was going to put a CB in the old factory radio location but I tested it before hacking up the panel more and it wasnt working so its my easy access wiring hole now.
