All these pictures makes me wish we got some snow in Indiana. Whenever we have more than a couple inches the news gets everyone freaked out about it and they run to the store for food. We never get as much snow as they say.

Budget traction

Any thoughts on running a spool upfront and using the selectable hub to choose between one or two tires turning upfront and a truetrack in the back? Heard a truetrack works best only in back, and a selectable locker upfront rather than lsd or Detroit TT due to harsh engagement/disengagement without riding brakes. I wheel 2-5' deep snow covered mountain roads. Off-camber cornering with cliffs on the low side is common. Hence 4tire fire wont work unless your on flatground?

theoretically should the proposed combo be the best bang for the buck?

That first pic brings back some good memories, didn't like the fact that I had to leave my buggy on the trail, but without that I wouldn't have made the recovery trip. Good times.

Do you mean on the trail? Or in the river? I love that picture. Its just a sick truggy and it was probably still moving when the picture was taken. All I can say is you guys got balls cuz that water looks cold as shit. High consequences if you fail on that sidehill.

Speedo broke his buggy, D60 steering "finger" broke off.

Brook got in some serious stuff getting in and out on the rescue run.

Temps to -30F.

Consequences for failure are very high here.

I love it! Winter is my slow season, I spend my most time wheeling in the snow. Good times.

First one is probably 1500' on New Years day. Second is probably about 4000' with Mount Baker in the background. I sure love having fuel injection! Much more power at elevation now.
