Chopped 4runner thread.

Let's see pictures of quality work with 4runners, along with links to the build, if possible.

A lot of the FAQ has expired photos.

Mention if it still seats 4 or if the seat is out.

Not sure who's this is but I like the fact it still has a functioning tailgate.

Some flatbeds are built pretty awesome, though so let's see them all.

Any 3rd gen chops out there?

Heres mine. Fully functional back seat, little bit of storage behind back seats. Little bit of storage in the "bed" but my gas tank is back there so not as much storage as it looks like. Gutted out the stock tailgate to cut some weight, but still opens and closes. Rear sliding window. alot of work but pretty happy with it so-far. No build up thread.

85 Runner. Fixed 4Runner tailgate 6" behind the factory rear seat. Functional narrow truck tailgate and fiberglass bedsides for a small expanded metal flatbed.

More pics in the "Super Bob" thread in the FAQs and an old build thread on Marlin.

Try it now! When my 3.4 would run right for me it was pretty badass and definetly WAY better than the POS 3.0 for sure!

SeaBass - what I mean is even if that lacks a tailgate - it would be a piece of cake to put one in and have it work. So basically, "tailgateable" compared to a flat tube bed.

Manson - how you get the rear window in and out? Looks nice.
