Grade 8 bolts CHEAP!

I have about 2,500 lbs. of quality new fasteners that I bought from a industrial supply company that went out of business. Most is grade 8, some is grade 5, and a bit is stainless and regular zinc coated cabon steel.

There are lots of big grade 8 bolts perfect for suspension components. I'm selling them way cheaper than you will find them anywhere else. Shipping should be reasonable using USPS flat rate boxes.

Thanks guys. check out the price list, you'll be amazed...

Also, since no one seems to want 3,000 lbs of grade 2 stuff at once, I've decided to put that out there for $1/pound (25 pound minimum).. big discounts will be available for larger quantities.

the counts are extrapolated from weights in most cases. some of the larger stuff is hand count. you can tell what's hand count because the weight field is blank in the price table. it was a ton of work.

I have the opportunity to pick up a ton of these things in sizes from 1/4 to 1" coarse thread (hardened alloy, same specs as grade 8, black oxide finish)... I haven't sold any so far, however, so I'm kind of concerned that if I bought this stuff I'd just be sitting on it.

would anyone here be interested in SHCS, top quality, for a fraction of what you'd pay on the street?

The pricing for SHCS would be at 4.25/lb.. here are some examples of what I have in stock right now as far as an each price.. this pricing is right in line with the rest of the fasteners that I have. As you can see, things really get good when you get to the bigger sizes. My prices stay the same per lb, while if you go anywhere else, they bend you over and don't even offer a reacharound.

My prices on flat head socket screws are similar...How do they strike you? would you buy if there was a wider selection?

Code:
Diameter	Length	Pitch	My price	Fastenal price
  7/16 7/8	Coarse	$0.25 $0.50
  1/2 1 3/4	Coarse	$0.52 $0.83
  1/2 2	Coarse	$0.58 $0.90
  5/8 4	Coarse	$1.70 $2.75
  3/4 2	Fine	$1.58 8.95

Another thing I have that I haven't put out there are socket set screws. Kind of an oddball item but I have about a dozen boxes in different size... any interest?

Shouldn't you need to be a vendor to sell all this?

I don't know... I looked around for criteria on needing tobecome a vendor (as opposed to simply posting in the classifieds), and couldn't find it... $240 for a vendor membership would be tough to swallow right now. I've only had one small sale from a PBB member for $40...

Based upon the pictures it sure looks like more than just a few bolts. And I dunno but it looks like he will make way more than $240 on selling these. And it won't be overnight. Even looking at the spreadsheet looks like a biz not just selling some shit..

How much discount are we talking and how much would I have to buy? I am thinking of getting about 10 or so (or what ever is available) of every grade 8 bolt you have up through (including) the 3/4" stuff, along with the nuts to match.

I wouldnt want to duplicate sizes based on finish (so yellow OR black not both), and I would prefer the yellow finish when both finishes are available.

I would also want a few pounds of each of assorted socket screws, nylocks, feneder washers, flat washers, and split washers.

This would all be shipped to 98338... Plese PM me with the details, and I can paypal right away...

Thanks....

We can let the mods decide this. As I wrote before I see no guidelines on this.

Then I can decide whether its worth it for me to pay the $$$ for the subscription. I'll either pay it, or delete this thread and change my sig. Until a mod or site owner contacts me I see no reason to do anything...

[QUOTE=dmntxn77;9358951]How much discount are we talking and how much would I have to buy? QUOTE]

You kind of misquoted me here. if you re-read the original post (post #4), this is what I wrote:

Also, since no one seems to want 3,000 lbs of grade 2 stuff at once, I've decided to put that out there for $1/pound (25 pound minimum).. big discounts will be available for larger quantities.

I was referring to the grade 2 stuff. Its all gone anyway.

If people order a lot we can talk discounts, but one on one.

PM sent on the rest. Thanks.
