Rockwell Steering Axle, hub to hub. $1,000.00 obo

A real Rockwell, not a Timken.

Build code in 58, rebuilt in 80's. Fluid looked good, but dark, no water or rust. Could probably use freshening up, I have no history on this axle other than I turned the pinion and everything sounds like it should. Both drums turn smoothly, pinion feels good and tight with proper preload. Needs a filler plug.

No idea what shafts are in it, was told it should have the good ones since it's a Rockwell and many of them have the good ones, versus the Timken's which are a crapshoot.

Price isn't set in stone. I'm looking for a running Samurai with some sort of hard top. Doesn't have to be perfect, but must run and drive. Or a High Pinion 60 for a late 80's Ford, with 4.11 gears. Can accept 3.54 gears, but would rather not. Must be complete hub to hub with calipers and all the stuff. My axle isn't broken and it's all there, I won't trade for a bent up POS missing all the brake crap and hubs.

Axle is located in Washoe Valley, Nevada. I have a loader and can put it in your truck, but I will not ship this for you unless you're willing to pay my time and all expenses. Cash on hand before I lift a finger.

No use for anything else as a trade, I have too much crap already and don't need anything else.
