At the junkyard, probably.

But there *IS* a different 8-lug pattern.. 97+ or 99+? SuperDutys have an 8-lug pattern that's some metric POS..

Doubt you're gonna find any at the boneyard tho'. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I bought brand new 16" 8lug wheels from Ford when I put tires on my 200. Between $30 and $35 each. Just plain old painted grey wheels, but NEW.

"pattern" yes, all the same, no.

The "Chevy" eight lugs typically have a smaller center hole than the Ford or Dodge wheels. The IH uses the bigger center as well.

Ford rims I'm (almost) positive will fit, Dodges I've been told, Chevy, likely not in the rear.

good luck

Good catch. The 14-bolt has a smaller hub, so the Chevy (factory) wheels do have the smaller opening.

Fords will definitely fit.. at least, on my RA-15 rear they do, and they clear the calipers on the front discs, too.

Thanks for the info, much easier than the trial and error method. <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

Question

Im going to do the 8 lugbolt conversion on the front 6lugbolt hd 44 front off a 78chevy, I have a 78ford d60FF 8lug rear. Am I able to just buy the ford style & run them front & rear once I convert the front to 8lug or what?

You *should* be fine. The center hole just needs to be big enought for ther REAR hubs to fit through, and since the Ford REAR hubs are bigger than the Chevy ones, and the chevy wheels fit over the Chrvy FRONT 8-lug hubs, the Fords being bigger should work fine.

clear as mud <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
