Knoxville to Murphy?

What is the easiest driving route? Mapquest gives me a route with 10000 turns on small roads when I search the shortest route, I am thinking this isn't the fastest way. Any sugestions?
Thanks

Take 75 to sweetwater.turn left onto 68.Follow all the way through Tellico Plains .After about a hundred curves past TP if you watch close you will
see a small rural rd called Runnion Road on left, follow that until dead ends into hwy 294.Turn left.Follow that until deadends into hwy64 turn left follow to Murphy. If you miss Runnion rd 68 will still come into 294.Only other route I
know is 75 to Cleveland and up 64 which is alot farther and you have to come up the gourge. This is the fastest trust me it has taken me to Jellico
a hundred times.

Or run 75S down to Cleveland, hit 64E for a straight shot to Murphy. Hang a left on 19 at the McDonalds and it will take you into downtown.

64 will take you through the park along the Ocoee river, but semis and motorhomes take that route all the time.

Just as fast as the shot through Tellico Plains and more scenic.

Yeah, nothing like running that in a Jeep with no swaybars

How far is Tellico OHV from Deal's Gap? I was there last weekend for a car event, but I wasn't sure how far Tellico was.

If you're coming from the North, is there a quicker way than going all the way to Knoxville before turning east?
