Fains Ford???

I'm heading up to Tellico this weekend. I've heard that the water crossing at Fains Ford is closed untill the bridge is built. Can anyone tell me more about this? So to get to Slick Rock one would have to go arround on #6.

It was open on Labor day weekend, but I don't know if it has been closed since. The ledge there has been blocked off with some rocks placed about 4' apart on the top. Some people had been going to the left and up the ledge, illegally I guess. I can't foresee themclosing it just a couple of weeks before Dixie.

It was open for the Dixie Run, looks like they graveled it in a way. Trail is a nice drive in a stock CJ7.

Send a message via AIM to Arya Ebrahimi
Has the ledge on the left always been "illegal"? Or is that a recent change?
