My 12 year old "owned" slickrock...

Sorry could not resist after reading 15 pages of drama. Really though, last trip to Tellico 3 weeks ago my boys decided they wanted to drive. Strapped them in and let them go. 16 year old who has not got his license yet... went up the right side and also did Guard rail and helopad, put it on its side almost on guardrail. The 12 year old drove the last ledge from the middle of slickrock all the way out. They have been going to Tellico since they were 4...
The 12 year old has to drive mostly by listening to me because he can't see out good. People ask me if I am really going to let him drive when they watch him get in

They informed me that I have lost my trail rig and that I need to get busy building me another one. Collected most of the parts for a 4 seat 514 Ford powered beast!

Make them build thier own rig. Gave mine a 89 BII @ the ripe old age of 12 and agreed that I would pay half of all mods, he had to pay the other half. As of now he rebuilt the engine, c5 trans, manual t/c, 35 front, 8.8 rear, lock rite front and rear. I did not expect him to be so focused and get so deep in my rig money.

Thats cool...I wish my dad would have let me buy a 4wd when I was younger.he said " If you buy a 4x4 that means there is twice the stuff to go bad"...so I didn't get 1 till after I got married

Dad gave me a 75 GMC Sierra long bed when I was 12 or 13. However, he's more of a hot rodder and we wound up taking it and another farm truck apart to build a V-8 2WD S-10. Gave the Gimmy away..... I wish I had that truck back. The S-10 sits motorless behind the house since I started my camaro project.....

I've got some pics of the boys going over the rock garden at the campground also. Thanks for the entertainment.
