Active duty military- Tellico users
This has been troubling me, though I'd share.
When I started wheeling Tellico I was active duty military (early 90's). I still wheel with military buddies on occasion and see military guys on the trail often, at least until a few years ago. Obviously the current pace of deployments has made it nearly impossible for those defending or freedoms to enjoy Tellico or any trails for that matter. I know over the years I have seen many more military wheelers than minnow trout fisherman in Tellico. The very individuals that are fighting, being shot at and killed for this country are being deprived of a voice in this fight and it pisses me off!!!!!! I brought this issue up in my letter to the F.S. and I hope they are reminded frequently of this fact. This just adds fuel to my personal resolve to help our cause.
