Angry Fishermen need to fish at the grocery store

If trout fishermen want to eat trout the store sells them every day, they come from the same place all the trout in tellico come from, a damn fish hatchery or farm as some might call it! Stay out of our trails and we will stay off your political agenda! , come to think of it i have never seen a trout run over by a trail rider, gov. Needs to stay indoors and we'll take care of the outdoors!

Tell 'em brother! That is my thoughts exactly

In the words of Kurt Schneider "They want to kill them, before we get a chance to kill them"

And not to mention they tromp around in the water with their hip waders kicking up A HELL OF A LOT MORE SEDIMENT than our tires ever would in a water crossing.

Trout fisherman do more than stir up mud and sediment , they sread Whirling Disease throughout the waters they fish. This disease is transfered from their waders and devestates streams and rivers in which it is introduced. I am very suprised that this has not been addressed in a manner which could be used to get T.U. to back off abit.

For awhile they were pretty concerned with the trout native to the region but at the same time we found out they were stocking the waters with another type of trout that was a natural enemy of the native trout... but we are the enemies

None of this will taken into consideration by the Forest Service, they are clearly biased

They ARE clearly biased. But let's try to understand why. TU is a huge, well funded anti access group. They have people that pay dues and that have never set foot in a river. But because they get their TU plates, they look cool, and they join.

Let the fishermen fish...most of them at Tellico have no beef with us. I read the economic impact document. They don't even know we are there for the most part. What that shows me is that this issue is being pushed by a few members of TU in accordance with their anti-acccess land movement.
They also pay for very high powered and expensive lawyers and lobbyists to work on our elected officials so they can get their agenda moved forward. So, why wouldn't the FS listen to them?

Well, I can give you one reason...a large, vocal, minority. That's us.
I am wondering if we should have a field trip to Asheville...maybe do some camping.

Why not take the rigs to Washington DC and do some donuts on the White House Lawn. My question is why the manufactures are not getting more involved. These corporations have more to lose than we do. They have powerful attorneys and lobby the law makers as well. Billions of $ goes into off roading industry. We are the supporters of them, they need to get involved and help us. I think everyone should also send a letter to BFG, RANCHO, Warn, Suzuki, Polaris, Yamaha, CanAM, Honda, Kawasaki and the list goes on and on. I think if they all get letters and phone calls telling them that there will not be a reason to purchase their products if places keep getting shut down. We need their help with Tellico OHV, NOW! We have the science behind us and it is clear to see that we are being rail roaded.

That's a good idea of getting the manufacturers involved in this

They are trying to suck the life out of us and make the offroad community laydown. LETS NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!!

x2 I can't count how many times I see brand new Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Toyota, and Nissan tow rigs up there. I know the Big 3 have alot to worry about but offroading is the only reason I would buy a tow rig. I don't farm so if one of the auto manufacturers wants my 50grand give or take for a new truck they need to step in a help keep this place open. Emails and calls are being sent.

paying to ride

i know throughout the years ive paid thousands of dollars along with other people to ride there. i wonder how much they would lose a year just in what we pay to ride. well if we dont pay to ride then they will have to cut down there ranks. do these poeple now what unemployments pays. they wont need as many rangers to do nothing but hold up chairs. we have given time and money to repair trails. what does that amount to. i bet there has been millions of money spent throughout the years there by us fourwheelers. how much have the fishing yuppies put in. lets go do some doughnuts. we could plan a mass ride to wash. in protest. im sure they would love a bunch of offroad vehicles crawling through washington in lowrange traffic would be fun at 2miles an hour. everylane side by side blocking trucks cars people trying to make meetings. if this who is up fpr it. we need thousands people local and people up there as well

another thing about washington

if they want to talk about stimulating the economy what do they think we do. think of all the parts we order for our rigs and the trailers and tow rigs. think of all the small businesses we affect. gas for rigs and tow rigs, tires, fab work, steel, local resturants and stores where we go to ride. the taxes we pay on all these items as well. where do they think the backbone of america is. its us. we probably have more invested in this country than any other group in it. i know i would have alot more in the bank if i didnt have 32000 in a tow rig 3000 in a trailer and 25000 in a trail rig plus gas on rides and travel to and from i mean damn just thinking that i have $60,000 invested in my hobby plus expenses and i travel once a month to ride. this is retarded. but hey there loss if they dont want our money maybe the tu will buy everyone blinged out rods and new trucks to go fish in i mean hey im sure they all spend more then we do in this economy. maybe washington should roll that up and smoke on it and see how important we are to the survival of a rough economy.

Don't forget the birdwatchers that demand senior discounts, early bird specials (even when they are late) and take all the creamers & sugar packages

looking at all the money that we dump in our set ups is sickening...but its true. Most of us on here have DDs that are our tow rigs...and if we didn't have our trail rigs, we wouldn't have gotten 3/4 or 1 ton pick ups. i personally dont have THAT much invested in my set up, but im 21 and have about 35K$ into my tow rig/dd, trailer, and trail rig. Many of the guys from my group are the same way. There may be fewer of us, be we do lots more individually to stimulate the econ and keep the money flowing than the VAST majority of those trout fishermen.
