i am 30 pages into this rediculous thing and it says 1 thing... THE FS SCREWED THE POOCH! i know some of ya'll have it allready but what did you get from it???

trail 1 is prestine due to the fact it is the only trail they maintain and it is the most heavily used. the rest are crap because they do not do shit!

this makes me even more angry than i was before!

Is the hard copy different in any way from the online pdf version (216 pages)? I didn’t request one, assuming I could read everything online. After going through the entire EA twice in preparation for writing comment letters it would have been a lot easier to earmark pages on a physical copy. I think I’ll request one anyway. If nothing else but to put in a pile and burn if the preferred alternative is adopted.

One other thing I wanted to say while you're reading. Does the whole EA not read as an us vs. them document? I thought this was supposed to be an environmental assessment not who do you agree with pick a side.

to me the forrest service just basicly showed there short comings, lazyness and unwillingness to work or paper... and then it makes us out as bad guys. that has got to be the biggest waste of manpower in the state of nc. i hope someone gets rid of that entire office.
