OK so maybe a dumb idea but I've been thinking out of the box on ways to expose TU and the FS. If all our claims are true about how stocking the river with non native trout is what really kills the native trout in Tellico and how the forestry service just has a hidden agenda etc etc then it seems we need to get Chris Hansen or somebody from Dateline NBC etc to investigate the issue and publicize it to the world.

Just a thought.

It will be difficult to get the national media to report anything on this situation. Unfortunately, that will happen when it's too late and a "radical" does something extreme. Then there will be no telling how they will spin the story to get the most ratings. I have sent the issue to Glen Beck, 20/20 ect and have not gotten anything back. It really is a shame that public lands are being stripped away from certain user groups, hidden under the cloak of the protection on the environment. The time is near for the FS to start it's slash and burn of Tellico and I don't see the "Greenies" hugging the trees. We could be their best allies in that fight, which will be the worst environmental man made disaster the OHV will see.

you also have to be careful about who you tell this too. The liberal media machine could make this a nightmare for us if they decide to spin it however they like. If Diane Sawyer got a hold of this I could only imagine the BS that would spew from her gaping trap

So what if we made our OWN video (or videos)and blast it all over You Tube.

Includes facts about actual damage, the effects on families and businesses, real info on our sport. We can never get enough positive press.

How about this?

If killing the fish is the problem, then ban the fishermen who diliberately try to kill the fish. Once they got banned I think they would loose interest.
