Locking steering columns
How is it that all these newer jeeps are getting stolen? how can you break the steering lock without making a big scene, loud noise and everything? right now my jeep has a switch hooked up to the little remote wire that goes to the starter solonoid. is this and my locking steering column enough to deter most thieves?
what does are you guys doing to keep your jeeps around?

Jeep(chrysler) columns are the easiest to get around, and w/o giving the details the steering column lock is no big deal to get around on any vehicle. As far as a starter disconnect a proffesional car thief is gonna have no problem especially on a jeep to jumper the starter solenoid, but it will most likely deter the local kid looking for a joy ride.
