Stolen.. Redding, CA area

I just wanted to get the word out that on March 3rd we had the following items stolen off of our pickup in the Cottonwood area:

2 38" Super Swamper TSL SX tires mounted on 10x15 Eaton Beadlock rims

1 Brand New 38" Super Swamper TSL SX tire mounted on a 10x15 black rockcrawler rim

1 Black Highlift Jack

They also tried to take our winch but were only able to get 3 of the nuts off, the other had a box welded around it. The 2 remaining wheels had all the lugs removed, so they must have been scared off, or hurt when the truck fell off their bottle jack and pinned it under the rear dif. The police have lifted some prints off of the jack.

If you or anyone hears of this incident, or comes across these items, we would really appreciate them contacting us.

Get a load of this. Chris and I were out horseback riding today. When we got home there was a note on our door saying "Please call 347-****, Ask for K****. Thanks" So we called it. K**** answers and I told her who we were. She said she was at the gas station a few days ago and got to talking to this guy in an old green ford with 3 tires in the bed. He told her his name was Tony and he was heading out of town, he needed to sell those tires for some traveling expenses. Well she was looking for some for her fiance's truck so she bought the 3 for $100 a piece. He said he would bring the 4th over the next day. Well the next day comes and the jackass never showed. She got to talking to a neighbor who told her they were probably stolen, he said he had seen a "big truck" parked over on Locust St. and that she should probably check with them. So that brings us to the begining of my story where she left the note on my door. Anyhow, tomorrow at 4:30 she is going to bring the wheels back to our house. Horray!!! We told her we would give her a $200 reward. She was cool with that. So she is out $100 and we are out $200 plus a highlift jack. Sure beats buying the whole lot again though. Nice to know there are still a few honest people out there.

NOW EVERYONE KEEP YOUR EYE OUT FOR A JACKASS IN AN OLDER GREEN FORD WHO MIGHT SAY HIS NAME IS TONY!

For a one time 1000$ fee I will sell you the beating up of "tony", on video tape + possible recovery of the other tire, if he still has it. Or the jack.

A description from the woman would be required.
