Power Tank PT-10 stolen in Redding

My brand new power tank was stolen from my Jeep yesterday (5/5/04) while parked in front of my townhouse in broad daylight 8:00 am - 12:00 noon. It is the black model with a carry handle. It was locked to my rack but, they were able to use pliers to back off a nut far enough to remove it. Anybody that has any info on one for sale in the northstate, please call me on my cell 530 228 3497. Thanks, Mike

Yeah, I just bought a used tank this weekend. My Jeep is usually in a garage out of sight but, I had to pull it out in the driveway for 4 hours. I'm damn sure welding the nut this time and taking other precautions now too. Just pisses me off that it was done in broad daylight and I'm sure by a "neighbor".

Thumbs down

man that sux! my trail buddy lost his PT10 going down cadillac hill last week. he had it mounted horizontal (WTF??) and out it slipped. didn't notice it missing till bottom of hill. the Fawk behind him swears he didn't see a thing, but the pix from the overlook b4 the descent proves it was there then. This is worse than a theft, sorry, because the rigs behind him all played stupid...
